La Catrina was created between 1910 – 1913 by a cartoon illustrator and lithographer José Guadalupe Posada.

Depicts a Female Skeleton and the artist aimed to mock the indigenous Mexicans who imitated European style.

Our kitchen is inspired on creations from many talented chefs from Baja California. We hope you’ve a great experience.

Our modern-casual Mexican bistro has transported the distinct flavors and style of Baja and the “Valle de Guadalupe” across the border, to be celebrated by San Diego North Park neighborhood’s locals and visitors alike.
